Choose and Book

Smartworks IT has been engaged by a number of Existing Systems Providers to assist those providers and their customers achieve Choose and Book version 1 and version 2 compliance. Already, we have helped a significant number of organisations connect to the NHS Choose and Book system, many now version 2 compliant.

NHS Spine

We have used our significant systems integration expertise to bridge clients' software to the NHS Spine. This has resulted in the development of robust, reliable software capable of handling the ebXML reliable messaging protocol, HL7 message payloads, and interaction with the Patient Demographics service (PDS).

Web 2.0

We are actively seeking to promote so-called "Web 2.0" technologies in the healthcare market, to assist with information sharing, search, and knowledge management. Indeed, we are currently participating in several pilot projects in this area.
